The peaceful location next to the orchard made it easy to get around. There's a Culver's nearby for a quick bite to eat. the room was incredibly spacious and had a great bed for a good night's sleep. 🌳.

Great location, super close to touristy spots like Te Anau. Plus, it's right by the beautiful Lake Manapouri shores 🌊. the twin/double room I stayed in had amazing views, a lovely veranda, and they even provided tea! .

The stay here was really enjoyable, with a special and delightful venue and great, sensational breakfast.

Breakfast features delicious local products like fresh fruit and homemade preserves. I was like a kid in a candy store, indulging in the juicy fruit and flaky croissants. It was a breakfast fit for royalty, setting me up for a day exploring the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding mountains and lakes.

our recent stay in manapouri was a delight, but murrells grand view house surpassed all expectations. the colonial mix building and well-furnished rooms provided a comfortable stay. breakfasts were delicious, and the owner, rob, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. the spectacular lake view from our bedroom added to the overall experience.

Soundproofing was lacking.

The experience at this historic inn was absolutely fantastic – from the mind-blowing views and peaceful atmosphere to the warm welcome and delicious breakfast. The host was super knowledgeable and friendly, providing tea, coffee, and cake on the amazing verandah. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot water for the shower was copious. The breakfast spread, including fresh local berries, was top-rate, and we were pleasantly surprised to have a choice of cooked food. Parking in the secure garden area was a grateful bonus. The location was incomparable, with stunning views and quiet surroundings. The character of the oldest house built in the 19th century added charm, and the baking by Philippa was outstanding. The wifi connection was good, and the walks along the lakeside were great. The nearby lakeside café and restaurant provided delicious dinners with breathtaking views. a truly lovely and authentic experience in an idyllic setting.

I chose Murrells Grand View House for its close proximity to Pearl Harbor. But I was pleasantly surprised by the library facilities and laundry facilities. The complimentary full breakfast with a range of teas and plunger coffee was also a delightful bonus.
